A new player is in town!

Its been a long time coming, but I've finally got around to fire up a web page and promote to the world my photographic business - Game On Sports Images.

Whilst this page is new, the person behind it isnt so new, well young. I've been taking photos for over 40 years in a non-professional capacity. Starting out with a point and shoot, moving to a kit lens SLR and now live in a mirrorless world using some amazing, really amazing equipment. Does it make me a better photographer? From what I know, my keep rate is now so much better. Faster focus, able to operate in lower ambient light to name a few benefits. But at the end of the day, the camera equipment is just that, equipment. I believe that photography is an art - so the trick is to take not only a photo - but also to tell a story. Sure there are times when a photo is a record, team photos or player portraits for instance. But there are time when shooting action, one asks - what does this image mean? What else is going on?

So there lay the challenge. Challenge accepted I say!
